As a frequent flyer, I always find it a pain to bottle my cleansers and moisturizers in the little bottles, and constantly buy an overpriced travel-sized hair-spray or toothpaste. The bottles are still prone to exploding, and the other two finish in less than 10 uses. On top of that, there’s a must for the type of lotions and potions I need to keep my face clear during my travels. My toiletry kit ends up taking a nice chunk of my bag, leaving little room for an extra pair of shoes or purchases.
With much trial and error, I discovered the wonderful world of powdered products. No limit is needed, and they are multi-purpose! Below are my new found favourites to bring with me during my travels.
Hey everyone, this post is about the 5 most-wanted, hot commodity products (for me) that are ALWAYS sold out in store/online! I’m talking about the Cover FX Bronzer in Suntan, Physician’s Formula Green Mascara, Sephora Cream Lip Stain in Pink Souffle, Essence Gel Liner, and the Face Shop brow pencil. After constant online stalking and window shopping, I have finally found these so called “Holy Grails.” But are they worth the hype?
This summer I decided to splurge on one of Coola’s sunscreens. I have been eyeing this brand for the past couple of years, never wanting to spend the money on such an expensive facial SPF.
I opted for Coola’s Unscented Matte Tint because 1) the Rose Tint was sold out at the Detox Market, and 2) the Cucumber Matte Finish pilled on my hand as I swatched it, and showed a white cast with a thin application.
I’ve used this for about half the summer, so it’s time to tell you what I think of the product! Worth the splurge, or save your money?
I’ve been collecting empties without a post for so long, it’s actually gotten to the point where I can actually divide them into categories!
So for this one, I thought I’d tackle the hair and moisturizers! The hair items mainly focused on my at the time irritated scalp and dry bleached hair. The moisturizers however are an eclectic mix of items I have tried for the year so far. Enjoy the read!
This is my first time doing a sample post, but it was time to clean out my bathroom drawer.
The only reason I like any sample posts is because it’s like a first impression. It’s a bit hard to detect if a product works properly after one product I admit, but I also think it’s important to know how a product will react upon first contact with the skin.
I tried a few products t right after a bath, and the rest was before bed. I know it’s a lot of product in one go, but like I said – I wanted to get rid of these samples, plus I have backup skin saviours in case I get a bad reaction!
