Hey peoples, welcome to part 1.2 of my skincare routine! Here I’m going to list the products that have helped me tackle those pesky spots, as well as the masks I’ve been consistently using that have given me positive results, while keeping my skin plump and healthy. I know some products I mentioned are hard to come by, but I do list alternatives I have found for each item. By this point you probably think I use a lot of stuff when really, I only use these items when needed.
During WishTrend’s Black Friday sale back in November 2015, I ordered the I’M FROM Honey Mask. It was honestly just because it’s been hyped up so much on their YouTube, and I wanted to see for myself that a honey mask could be that amazing. It was also on sale 🙂
From what I was able to gather on their website, this mask contains 38.7% real honey, not extract, from Jiri Mountain, Korea. The brand “Honey & Persimmon World” is the name of the small farm in Wolpyeong Town that provides the brand I’m From the honey for its mask. They get the honey from the bees living in Jiri Mountain. By using their own technology, they safely store it in a glass jar.
I honestly didn’t think much about this mask once I first used it, because I thought it would be like any regular honey mask I tried. Boy, was I wrong. This mask surprised me with the end result I got, and I don’t know if I can not have this in my skincare collection once it runs out.
Hey beauties, back in October I received my WishTrend order of the Klairs Illuminating Supple Blemish Cream and the Enca Concealer. I have been using it on and off since as a daily base for casual outings and for work. I think I’ve tested it enough to write a review!
Hello, It’s Me…..
Here’s my updated skincare routine on products that I have used exclusively and consistently from July 2015 to almost a year. I needed to find products that would tackle the superficial breakouts I was experiencing on my chin, as well as the utter dehydration and tightness I constantly felt. I could not bare the thought of having cystic acne again, so this routine also had to be something that was preventative as well. My original go to routine (One Routine to Rule Them All) for intense breakouts was not hydrating enough for my skin, so I had to revamp my approach to a new skincare routine. The key to this was to find gentle, yet highly effective products, with a good ingredient list. I didn’t want to just turn to my local Shoppers Drug Mart and get over-the-counter products filled with benzoyl peroxide. I find products like those clear my face, but also make my skin thinner and weaker. Plus, my skin would become “addicted” to the medical ingredient, meaning if I wanted to keep up a clear face, I could never sway from it. I wanted to rebuild the strength of my skin, and slowly ween my way off of any intense treatments that I’d have to rely on.
Hey everyone! This post is about products I have purchased from the brand Pretty Organic Cosmetics, a small Canadian skincare brand created by two sisters; one is a dietitian, the other a make-up artist and aesthetician. One of the sisters had suffered eczema, and both were on a constant hunt for products that would not aggravate the sister’s sensitive skin. This proved to be a tough feat, for many brands they have looked at were filled with cheap, irritating ingredients and preservatives. The two sisters decided to take matters into their own hands and create an all-natural skincare line with minimal, organic, high quality ingredients.
